When i drink alcohol or coffee…i get similar aftermath symptoms. These are chills, and thirst. I know the thirst is becuase of dehydration, but these both are also know from messing with blood sugar levels. I heard coffee levels out ur blood sugar but after awhile it falls due to not eating anything because it decreases ur appetite. And i heard other things about coffee/sugar levels. And alcohol alone is high in sugar, so maybe it has the same affect??Goes real high, then drops low? Anyone’s imput?
Another odd thing is…my dad was an alcoholic but he almost died so he went cold turkey which i am greatful for…and now he switched to being a coffee addict and he hasn’t sipped any alcohol in a while. they abviously have sumthing in common…maybe it psycoligical. i dunno
